Lewis is a British detective drama TV series, a spin-off of Inspector Morse series. Robert "Robbie" Lewis (Kevin Whately), Morse's sergeant in the original series, is promoted to DI and continued his work in the Thames Valley Police. In the latest series, Lewis had retired from the police, but is brought back as a consultant. Stories are mostly set in Oxford, often connected with the University of Oxford.
In "Reputation" (Pilot episode) Danny Griffon (Charlie Cox) owns a Smith & Wesson Model 10HB revolver that is used as a murder weapon several times throughout the episode. Dr. Laura Hobson correctly identifies it a .38 gun.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
In the opening scene in "Old School Ties" (S01E02) an Oxford student Jo Gilchrist (Frances Albery) gets a Smith & Wesson Model 60 revolver as a birthday present. David Harvey (James Russell) who gifted the revolver claims that it was his grandfather's wartime gun (which is obviously wrong for Model 60).
In the climactic scene in "The Dead of Winter" (S04E01) Paul Hopkiss (Pip Carter), the butler in Mortmaigne's estate, raises an Enfield No. 2 Mk I revolver at DI Lewis. (Really, "The butler did it"!)

Shotguns
Over and Under Shotgun
In "Reputation" (Pilot episode) Rex Griffon (Jack Ellis), Mr. Tanigaki (Dennis Matsuki) and several other Griffon Cars executives and their Japanese visitors use Over and Under Shotguns for skeet shooting.
Double Barreled Shotgun
Richie Maguire (David Hayman) fires a Double Barreled Shotgun in several scenes in "Counter Culture Blues" (S03E04). A double barreled shotgun is seen next to the dead body of Ralph Grahame (Jonty Stephens) in "The Dead of Winter" (S04E01); two more shotguns are seen in Grahame's house. A large number of double barreled shotguns is seen in "Entry Wounds: Part 1" (S08E01) when police confiscated Gillian Fernsby's (Anna Carteret) and Tom Marston's (Aden Gillett) guns for investigation. Gillian Fernsby is also seen with a shotgun. Sam Langton (Bobby Lockwood) holds a shotgun in the opening scene in "Magnum Opus: Part 1" (S09E03) and in the final scene in "Magnum Opus: Part 2" (S09E04).
Muskets
Matchlock Musket

A long rampart gun is used by English Civil War reenactors in the opening scene in "The Dead of Winter" (S04E01).
Rifles
Bolt Action Rifle
Several bolt action rifles, some with sniper scopes, are seen on shooting range in "Dark Matter" (S04E02). They are used by Isobel Crompton (Sophie Ward) and Kate Cameron (Ruby Thomas). In the climactic scene Babs Temple (Annabelle Apsion) holds a rifle. Police expert claims the rifles to be of .22 caliber. An armed police officer carries a Heckler & Koch HK53 compact assault rifle during the search of runaway suspect Tom Marston (Aden Gillett) in "Entry Wounds: Part 1" (S08E01). The usage of HK53 is slightly incorrect: of all territorial police forces in England only Cumbria Constabulary's firearms unit has HK53 while Thames Valley Police acts in the series.
Trivia
Cannons
Several small muzzleloading field cannons are used by English Civil War reenactors in the opening scene in "The Dead of Winter" (S04E01).
In "Entry Wounds: Part 1" (S08E01) a rifle is fired in a large volume of water so the bullet is undamaged. Then the bullet is inserted in 12 gauge case and fired from a shotgun, killing the victim. Ballistic expert identified the bullet as fired from rifle, while this particular weapon cannot be used for the murder.
