Tony Jaa is a Thai actor and martial artist who first gained notice for his starring role in the 2003 Thai martial arts film Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior and its two sequels (which he would also direct and co-direct) and then in the 2005 film The Protector. He would later showcase his martial arts background in such films as Furious 7 and xXx: Return of Xander Cage.
