I have the Claridge Hi-Tec and was looking to sell it.  It seems like there are a couple of variations, mine has the bolt open button and has never been fired.  I may change my mind and keep it, but do need the money.  I can't seem to find any of my type of pistol for sale. Anyone that can give me an idea of what it's really worth, would be appreciated.  Since they were made from 91-93 and the bolt hold open button is odd, I would think it would bring more money?  Any ideas???

:This is a movie trivia (weapons in films) site, not a guns forum.  Though there may be members who might have the information you need, you'd be better served making an inquiry on a firearms discussion board. they have more connection to blue book values and collector piece prices.  The Claridge Hi-Tec is a rare piece, but it's also obscure.  Many firearms 'dudes' don't even know what it is, and thus don't appreciate it's value. However, with the current buying hysteria (because of the Obama election) the prices of all guns are sky rocketing up and supplies are drying up. Only a collector of assault style pistols or other weapons (of an unusual or futuristic nature) would even know the intrisic value of an unusual feature like that. None of my Claridges have a bolt hold open button, so you definitely have a rare piece.  And no, don't ask me for value.  I bought all mine in 1990 and paid 1990 prices and never checked on their value today (and aren't interested because all mine are blank adapted, thus 'ruined' of their collector value. Here is a letter to Security Arms written by Goncz himself

Subject: Goncz Hi-Tech Weapons
Dear Sir,
Just some clarification in your statement as to the Goncz / Claridge
The Goncz was invented, designed and produced by Me.
There was a business transaction where they bought 50% of
the business and ones they got access to the technical data
they thought they are in the driver seat started a new company
by Claridge Hi-Tech and tried to take over the entire operation
and renamed the firearms they produced as Claridge. They even
claimed it that they invented it. (Gail Claridge is an interior decorator,
and her husband Joe an ex policeman, who did not know what a reamer
is.) Before they came into the picture the weapons were in production
and they were sold and now they are as a collector items valued
between 5 and $15,000 each.
Your (SecurityArms.org) statement that they improved on it is false and misstatement.
The facts are what they produced it is f!@#$%^& garbage and a
dangerous firearm by adding the bolt/hold back part, which as you
releasing the bolt, chances are that the firing pin is release and fires
the chambered cartridge...
They never had the tooling for the magazines double row, double feed
19 round, they provided a single double row single feed magazine
that they bought as a after market cheep magazines.
The receiver the Goncz are made of 4130 alloy, machined out of a
solid piece. top quality bears my name. Their guns have a cheap
duct pipe receiver with silver soldered plug to hold the barrel.
After the litigation of Patent infringements, intellectual property
misuse and Fraud in the U.S. Federal court I put them out
business....the mother !@#$%^&*(.s
