Not an M4, It's a Sig 516 CQB, also confirmed is an DD M4V1, TAR-21 and Stoner LMG--Death Shadow20 (talk) 06:03, 23 May 2019 (EDT)

Thank you, Death Shadow 20.--Dannyguns (talk) 06:16, 23 May 2019 (EDT) - No worries, always happy to help. On a side note, the sniper rifle of one of Nomad's teammates is carrying, neither is a Remington MSR nor a CheyTac M200. It's a Victrix Scorpio Mille.--Death Shadow20 (talk) 07:02, 23 May 2019 (EDT)

The HK416 is returning, too. Pre-order material has shown a skin for it as a bonus, IIRC. Just as an FYI, though, my contributions to this page will be minimal (unlike GRW, where I think I've been the majority contributor). Forced online functionality and removing the squad from a squad-based shooter aren't sitting well with me right now and thus I've no current plans to get this game. Spartan198 (talk) 07:49, 23 May 2019 (EDT)

Ditto. It is a waste to put required online, (considering that a lot of countries don't have a good online connections, including 1st world ones, and then Ubi will learn the hard way.) to such a masterpiece. Its weird, 'cause Ghost Recon wiki mention a storyline. Vitrix addition seems good.--Dannyguns (talk) 07:57, 23 May 2019 (EDT)

Ubisoft's stated reasoning for cutting the AI squad is utterly hilarious and contradictory: they claimed in a live stream with a couple of devs that they wanted to make a true lone wolf experience. Yeah, a "true lone wolf experience" unless you're playing co-op with up to 3 friends, where that experience becomes non-existent. If they really wanted to offer a lone wolf experience, co-op would have been cut, too. The lead guy went on to say that playing solo would be "painful, but possible" (which tells you what the game is going to be balanced around) and the other quipped "get friends or suffer", which I felt a little insulted by (though I'll admit he probably only meant it in jest). The real reason they cut the AI squad is because they're incapable of improving the lackluster squad AI used in GRW, they just don't want to admit it. But as I said on their forums, I'm totally okay with it if Ubisoft doesn't want my money this time. I'm still playing and enjoying GRW, so it's no skin off my back. Spartan198 (talk) 07:36, 24 May 2019 (EDT) I will not be getting it as well Spartan, so many dumb decisions around this game, as much as new improvements over Wildlands it has, i feel like the cons you mentioned are pretty dissapointing to say the least.--Death Shadow20 (talk) 07:44, 27 May 2019 (EDT)

I see Ubi, sometimes as a bunch of lazy greedy people that don't do the research. I was shocked when the Police Snipers in Watch Dogs 2 used SVDs(!) instead of the more plausible M110 as in previous game and when Raven's Rock used a UH-60 Blackhawk (althought with a cool skin) instead of a Mi-26, or even a Mi-24, which was already used in the previous game. Not to mention the POF P416! Is everywhere! Their "business ideas" and laziness ruins their products! Dannyguns (talk) 10:19, 27 May 2019 (EDT)

I believe Ubisoft has a licensing agreement of some sort with POF for the P416 family, so seeing it in practically every Ubisoft game is to be expected. They'll probably find some way to slip it into the next AC game, too. Raven's Rock using a reskinned Black Hawk is probably a matter of them not wanting to bother adding a new vehicle into GRW. Just about every piece of equipment used by Unidad is inaccurate, though. Not even the actual Bolivian army is that well equipped. Spartan198 (talk) 21:12, 31 May 2019 (EDT)

Ubisoft has decided to reverse their decision and include AI teammates. Hopefully they scrap the online connection requirement next. I'm not paying $60 for this game if its shelf life is limited. Spartan198 (talk) 12:01, 11 June 2019 (EDT)

So glad they listened and added AI teammates back. That Tank drone looked hard enough with x4 humans let alone on your own with no help! What concerns me is Ubi doing its copy and paste again with weapons! Apart from the launcher, 40mm and Sig516 everything else seems to be from Wildlands! I did like the Sig 556xi but I would prefer they replace the AK47 & AK12 for CMMG47 or similar and add the AK15! Swap the Tar21 for the X95 and add the Tavor 7 too especially as its near future the current weapons shown look dated. --Forrest1985 (talk) 05:51, 13 June 2019 (EDT)

"I believe Ubisoft has a licensing agreement of some sort with POF for the P416 family, so seeing it in practically every Ubisoft game is to be expected." Considering half the time it's under made-up names, I find that hard to believe.--Tamarin88 (talk) 07:11, 13 June 2019 (EDT)

Admittedly, that's just something I've read muttered on gaming forums (I probably should have mentioned that), so take it with a grain of salt. Spartan198 (talk) 08:13, 7 September 2019 (EDT)

Well, is just laziness on Ubi part + "gun lover fans" loving that weapon. Forrest1985 your guns ideas are good, also I hope for a tactical full-auto version of the Alexander Arms Beuwulf .50 (would be useful against the drones),XM-109,XM-25 (I know that never left prototype stage but would be useful),Grot rifle,Beretta ARX-200 and GMMW machine gun. Finally they would add the SIG P320 (M17) -Dannyguns (talk) 09:46, 14 June 2019 (EDT)

I'm in the closed beta (this time no NDA keeping me from talking like the OTT) and I can confirm the majority of the weapons are indeed recycled from Wildlands. They've also downgraded the gunsmith feature in order to increase the loot pool, so now we can no longer mod buttstocks or barrel lengths. Want an HK416 with an 11 inch barrel? You're stuck with a ridiculous thumbhole stock that no SOF operator would ever use. On top of that, attachments are restricted based on the weapon, too. For example, you can't put an ACOG or AFG on an HK416 or an EOTech or any underbarrel attachment on an AK. And sorry to tell you, Danny, but the only gun you listed there that's in the game is the P320. Closest after that is the M82. I've never even heard of a machine gun named "GMMW" and an internet search of "GMMW machine gun" turned up nothing. I have a buttload of screenshots I took, but I forgot that my PS4 is set to take PNGs, so I have to change them all to jpgs before I can upload them. I don't think I got one of every gun in the beta (though I am pretty sure I've seen all the guns that are in it), but there's a lot. Spartan198 (talk) 05:31, 7 September 2019 (EDT)

Okay, that's done. I'll get another round today. Spartan198 (talk) 08:13, 7 September 2019 (EDT)

I still need to get some of these and I'm working on it. I have yet to see a number of these so far. In the meantime, anyone have any idea what this gas grenade is based on?

Spartan198 (talk) 20:59, 7 September 2019 (EDT)

The closest match I could find was the RDG-M smoke grenade, or possibly the version that actually makes gas, the RGR-Rulet VV grenade. Either way, the colorscheme is totally fictitious, and unless it's making tear gas, so are the contents. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 22:41, 7 September 2019 (EDT)
