The Equalizer 2 is a 2018 sequel to 2014's feature film adaptation of the 1980s television series of the same name. Denzel Washington returns (in his first sequel to one of his films) as former US agent Robert McCall, who finds himself reunited with some of his old associates when one of his former bosses is brutally killed. Antoine Fuqua returns as director, marking the latest of four collaborations with Washington, which also includes Training Day (2001) and The Magnificent Seven (2016).
