Fabio Montale is a French 2002 detective mini series directed by José Pinheiro and starring Alain Delon as Marseilles police commissioneer Fabio Montale. In a short time prior to his retirement from service, Montale finds a trace of corruption in high ranks of local police. The story is based on the novels by Jean-Claude Izzo.
The following weapons were used in the film Fabio Montale:
In "Solea" (Ep.3) Fabio Montale (Alain Delon) is retired from service and cannot carry a gun legally. So when in need, he asks Thierry Peyrol for help and gets an illegal Smith & Wesson Model 15 Snub revolver.
A snub nose Smith & Wesson Model 66 is seen in the scene on Gennaro Battisti's villa in "Total Khéops" (Ep.1). Fabio Montale (Alain Delon) loads it with a cartridge, taken from the box with marking "38 Special".
In "Total Khéops" (Ep.1) Fabio Montale (Alain Delon) carries a Glock 33 in addition to his Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight. In one scene the pistol is taken from Montale by his old friend Pierre Ugolini (Jean-François Garreaud) who spoke disparagingly about the Glock, calling it a mere toy. After this scene the Glock 33 isn't seen.
A Glock 26 is a backup weapon of Capt. Morvan (Marc Samuel) who carries it in leg holster. In one scene in "Total Khéops" (Ep.1) Morvan puts the pistol in hand of dead Pierre Ugolini.
A Beretta 92FS is Capt. Morvan's (Marc Samuel) sidearm in "Total Khéops" (Ep.1). In one scene he gives it to Lt. Loubet (Eric Defosse). In "Chourmo" (Ep.2) a Beretta 92FS is used by Alex Narni (Michel Albertini). In "Solea" (Ep.3) an assassin uses a nickel plated, pearl gripped Beretta. Auch (Jean-Marie Winling) uses a Beretta in the climactic scene in the same episode.
In a flashback scene of Montale's youth (seen in first and second episodes) Gennaro Battisti (uncredited) gives a Walther P38 to young Fabio (Nicolas Granion).
A pistol that appears to be a Jericho 941 FB Compact is seen in hands of a robber in the opening scene in "Total Khéops" (Ep.1). Commissioneer Philippe Auch (Jean-Marie Winling) uses a compact Jericho 941 in "Chourmo" (Ep.2).
A Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is seen in hands of a police officer in the opening scene in "Total Khéops" (Ep.1). One of Auch's henchmen is armed with an MP5 in the climactic scene in "Solea" (Ep.3).
Redouane Hamoudi (Kamel Ferrat) uses a Uzi in the assassination attempt in "Chourmo" (Ep.2). In "Solea" (Ep.3) two of Auch's henchmen carry Uzi during the assassination of Babette's friends.
Narni's henchman uses a Mini Uzi to kill Serge Bondy (Jean-Claude Dauphin) in "Chourmo" (Ep.2). In the same episode Redouane Hamoudi (Kamel Ferrat) takes a Mini Uzi but then it switches to a full size Uzi. In "Solea" (Ep.3) several of Auch's henchmen carry Mini Uzi in the climactic scene.
Davor (Pierre Henri) fires a MAT-49 at Pavie (Géraldine Danon) in "Chourmo" (Ep.2). A MAT-49 is seen in Redouane Hamoudi's room together with a Mini Uzi in the same episode.
A pump action shotgun with pistol grip and folding stock is seen in hands of a police officer in the opening scene in "Total Khéops" (Ep.1). It appears to be a Remington 870 Police Magnum.
In one scene in "Chourmo" (Ep.2) Davor (Pierre Henri) raises a double barreled shotgun at Montale but the commissioneer disarms him. Fonfon (Georges Neri) is seen with a double barreled shotgun in "Solea" (Ep.3).
In Commissioneer Montale's office there are two photos of some episodes of his past. These photos appear to be screenshots from previous Delon's movies: For a Cop's Hide (on the top) and Dirty Money (on the bottom).
