The MAB Model D is a French pistol based on the FN Model 1910. The easiest way to distinguish it from the FN Model 1910 is by its sights. The MAB Model D was manufactured in two variants. The Type I was manufactured between 1933 and 1945, and had a latch under the slide which released the muzzle bushing for disassembly. The Type II was manufactured from 1945 onwards, and replaced the external latch with an internal latch that released the bushing by pushing in and turning the bushing itself.
