Electra Glide in Blue is a 1973 cult film that follows a motorcycle cop (Robert Blake) who encounters various strange characters while patrolling the highways of Arizona on his Harley-Davidson Electra Glide.

Colt Python
Officer "Big John" Wintergreen (Robert Blake) carries a blued and nickel Colt Python revolver. The mix of blued and nickel finish was known as a "Pinto" finish. It was in vogue in the seventies with several custom gunshops offering the service.On the DVD the director,James William Guercio,states that the Colt Python was ,and evidently still is, his personally owned firearm.
Smith & Wesson Model 20
Wintergreen's partner Zipper Davis (Billy Green Bush) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 20 as his sidearm.
Colt Detective Special
Det. Harvey Poole (Mitchell Ryan) is seen unloading his Colt Detective Special when encountering a group of hippies. At the beginning of the movie John Wintergreen (Robert Blake) is shown putting a Colt Detective Special into a shoulder holster when he is getting dressed for work.
