Geostorm is a 2017 disaster film co-written and directed by Dean Devlin, the producer of such films as Independence Day, Stargate (1994), and The Day After Tomorrow. Gerard Butler stars as Jake Lawson, a scientist who must find a way to disable the satellite system that has caused several global weather disasters.

The SIG-Sauer P228R can be seen carried by agents of the United States Secret Service, including Agent Sarah Wilson (Abbie Cornish).
Springfield Armory XD
During a fight with Jake (Gerard Butler), Duncan Taylor (Robert Sheehan) pulls what appears to be a Springfield Armory XD from underneath the computer desk on the station.
