The Red Baron is a 2008 German film production by director Nikolai Müllerschön about the last Life Years of Manfred von Richthofen. The 24-year-old Baron Manfred von Richthofen (Matthias Schweighofer) is a gifted fighter pilot in World War. All Europe fears his red-painted Fokker. He and his comrades Voss (Til Schweiger), Sternberg (Maxim Mehmet) and Lehmann (Hanno Koffler) see air duels as bold sports. Only when Richthofen falls in love with the nurse Käte (Lena Headey), he discovered the horrors of war.
