: But.. we're not "stealing" "their" film, we're chronicling the firearms used in a piece of media, that's it. Now if these were spy spots from something still in production or otherwise yet to be released that'd be one thing but this is a 30 year old flick. This before we even get into the question of whether a few internet 'crazies' actually have any let alone exclusive rights to it in the first place. Bottom-line I don't see how they can insist or demand us to remove a damn thing and frankly I don't see why we should humor them, either. :::Well, I myself do not really understand. Are ''screenshots'' of a movie, taken from a publicly available free source, is a copyright objects? Many of my files have long been scattered over the Internet, but I have never freaked out about this, as these are not some author's photos or images, and not even from some rare copy; and no one can claim true possession of movie frames, except for the actual creators of this film. But so that these crazy people do not annoy us, I would just like we to forget about it. And I advise anyone to never take anything from that site again, do not repeat my mistakes. --[[User:Slon95|Slon95]] ([[User talk:Slon95|talk]]) 14:30, 8 February 2019 (EST) |
