Additional Variants
Is this a bad replica?
- I have an inert training Mk.2. Scares the shit out of people when they first see it on my computer desk-S&Wshooter 21:34, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- I have an inert M67 myself. Spartan198 (talk) 09:11, 27 June 2013 (EDT)
Training grenade image on main page
According to this, the training grenade image on the main page with a different body shape is actually a replica: the WW2-era training grenades used a standard HE body because the original Mk 2 had a base-filling plug so you could stick a little gunpowder charge in it so it went bang but didn't blow up, throw on a standard fuze and give it a wood or cork base plug and away you went. The later ones (M21) were a special body with a hole because the HE grenade didn't have one anymore, but they still seem to have been roughly the same shape.
