Submachine Guns
M1A1 Thompson
The Gods & Kings expansion adds the Marine unit as an alternative to Infantry, armed with M1A1 Thompsons.
Rifles
Lee-Enfield
The Gods & Kings expansion adds the Great War Infantry unit as an intermediate step between the Rifleman and Infantry units, armed with Lee-Enfields.
M1 Carbine
The Brave New World expansion adds the Pracinha unit as a replacement for the Infantry unit for the Brazilian civilization, armed with M1 Carbines.
M1 Garand
The Infantry unit uses M1 Garands.
Machine Guns
Gatling Gun
The Gods & Kings expansion adds the Gatling Gun unit as a ranged ground unit.
Vickers
The Gods & Kings expansion adds the Machine Gun unit as the then final ranged ground unit (the Brave New World expansion adds the ability to upgrade it to the Bazooka unit), armed with Vickers Machine Guns.
Launchers
Panzerschreck
The Brave New World expansion adds the Bazooka unit as the final ranged ground unit, armed with Panzerschrecks. Despite its real use as an anti-vehicle weapon, the Bazooka unit has no anti-armor bonuses and is primarily intended as an anti-infantry unit.
