Glock 17
Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) carries a G17 with flashlight attachment. Agents Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson),Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) and Jennifer Jareau (AJ Cook) all are frequently seen with standard Glock 17s.
Glock 19
Used by a police detective to fire a few shots at a fleeing criminal, although he misses and the criminal commits suicide by driving off a cliff. Also carried by NYPD.
Springfield Armory TRP
SSA David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) carries a Springfield TRP, a model of which is used by the FBI's elite HRT, throughout the series, this suggets he may have been HRT/SWAT trained to use this weapon.
SIG-Sauer P226
Agent Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) carried one during the seasons he was in. This is a realistic weapon since the FBI did issue the P226. Hotchner has been seen with one a few times, but almost always carries a Glock 17.
Smith & Wesson Model 65 3"
Reid switches to one in season 4. He still carries his sidearm in a manner a militia leader once said "The way you wear that you're just asking someone to take it off of you boy."
Beretta 92FS
Used by many characters, including criminals and police officers, notably by a terrorist to kill three Secret Service agents in a hospital, despite the fact that in real life the agents would wear body armor and the shots were going through an elevator door. This appears to be a non-gun that malfunctioned, as the first shot had the slide cycle but no muzzle flash. The Beretta is also used by a bank guard in a standoff with a gunman.
- This is incorrect. Non Guns don't cycle, they flash but don't cycle. I've seen this phenomenon before in the editing suite of such shows. Film is shot a 24 Frames per second. Half of the time the flash is lost between frames. If the slide is already back, then it's one frame behind where the flash is. When going frame by frame (in the editing suite, NOT on DVD at home) there is the Flash in one frame, and then the slide going back and shell eject in the next frame. So this is merely the flash NOT being captured by either a FILM camera (which shoots at 24 FPS) or a Professional Digital HD camera (like a Cine Alta) shooting at 24P. MPM2008
AR-15/M-16 variants
FBI SWAT teams and several local police forces have M4 carbines. A militia member is seen with one holding a hostage on a hilltop. A killer guns down 3 of his enemies with a fully automatic AR, possibly class 3 or illegally converted since it is described as privately owned. A shooter uses a scoped AR-15 from the trunk of a car, aiming to wound people so he can attend to the wounds as part of a hero complex (Reminiscent of D.C. sniper incident).
MAC-10
A bank robber uses a MAC-10, he enters a brief standoff where he convinces a guard to surrender based on the fact he'd go down spraying at civilians.
M26 hand grenade
A milita member suicide bombs himself with one, killing a police officer.
AK-47 variants
Members of a polygamist cult use AK variants in a shootout with a SWAT team. A Somalia veteran sees militia with various AKs, but it's an illusion as they are SWAT officers with M4 Carbines. In a retelling of his past, he can be seen killing a child soldier armed with an AK.
AKS-74U
Another weapon used by the cult, notably the leader.
Remington 870
Used by the "Road Warrior" killer (Mitch Pileggi); fired from inside his car at motorists. He has a custom brace on the slide that attaches to his windowsill and allows him to rack the slide while driving. One is taken by a hitman and used to kill his daughter's captor. Also used by several racists who try to massacre an Indian school. Hotchner has been seen with one while searching for a criminal.
Heckler & Koch MP5
Used by various SWAT teams, notably in the rescue at the polygamist compound. One is equipped with suppressor based on noise of it firing but not seen on screen.
Colt Official Police
Reid's captor uses this pistol and taunts Reid with a Russian-roulette like game several times, and later captured by Reid to kill his captor.
Remington 700 Police
A remington 700 police model is seen in use by various SWAT teams, notably to shoot a Somalia veteran suffering from PTSD who tried to get a kid ot of harm's way but this act was mistaken for an attack.
Smith and Wesson Stealth Hunter
Identified as a .44 magnum, this weapon was used by a serial killer.
Smith & Wesson 4506
A stainless steel automatic which appears to be a Smith & Wesson 4506 is used by the polygamist cult leader. It could also possibly be a CZ-75b. An arsonist also uses one, but refuses to use it noticing the benzene-filled building would explode from muzzle flash.
Glock 26
Hotchner's backup gun, carried in an ankle holster. Hotchner tricks the "Long Distance Serial Killer" into letting him beat Reid, but the kicks are a ruse to allow Reid to take the gun from Hotchner's ankle holster. Reid then kills the LDSK with a shot to the forehead.
Unknown .22 Automatic
Terror cell members kills several civilians and wounds a detective using .22 automatics. Possibly a Beretta Bobcat, Jetfire or a Taurus PT-22.
Based on the second screen-cap, I would venture to guess that the weapon is a Beretta 950 Jetfire. Correct me if I'm wrong though, as the shot is a little blurry, due to it being a shot taken when the object (shooter and gun) were in motion
Winchester Model 70
A militia leader (Pat Skipper) deputized by the sheriff uses this to kill a crazy former militia member and save a hostage. He gives the team the spent shell.
