The Gray Wolves (Serye volki) is a 1993 Russian political thriller directed by Igor Gostev. It depicts the events of Autumn 1964 when the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchyov was removed from power as a result of conspiracy led by Leonid Brezhnev.
The following weapons were used in the film The Gray Wolves (Serye volki):
Pistols
Makarov PM
Capt. Sorokin (Aleksandr Mokhov) and other KGB operatives are mostly armed with Makarov PM pistols.
PSM
In one scene a KGB operative (Fyodor Smirnov) holds the PSM pistol (anachronistic for 1964).
IZh-53
Sorokin (Aleksandr Mokhov) uses the IZh-53 air pistol, fitted with shoulder stock and sniper scope, to launch a covert listening device.
Submachine Guns
Sa.26
In one scene a KGB operative (Nartay Begalin) fires the Sa.26 SMG.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Side by Side Shotgun
In the opening scene several Soviet leaders carry Double Barreled Shotguns on wolf hunt.
TOZ-34
O/Under Shotguns are also seen in the scene of wolf hunt. They are likely TOZ-34s.
