Smoke and Shorty (original Russian title Smok i Malysh, Lithuanian title Smokas ir Mažylis) is a 1976 Soviet Lithuanian made for TV adventure movie directed by Raimondas Vabalas and based on the short stories collection Smoke Bellew by Jack London.
The following weapons were used in the film Smoke and Shorty (Smok i Malysh):
Numerous characters, including Smoke Bellew (Venyamin Smekhov), Shorty (Gediminas Girdvainis), Joy Gastell (Eugenija Bajoryte), Wild Water Charley (Vytautas Tomkus) and other Dawson residents, carry revolvers that appear to be a modified Nagant M1895s, fitted with a long faceted barrels and fake loading levers in order to make them look as the Colt 1851 Navy. Similar props are seen in Priklyucheniya Kalle-syschika, filmed by same studio.
Winchester Model 1895
Most long guns, seen in hands of prospectors and Royal Canadian Mounted Police troopers, are Winchester M1895 Russian contract rifles.
Mauser Gewehr 1898
In one scene a prospector carries a Mauser Gewehr 1898 rifle.
