Petrovka, 38 is a Soviet 1980 detective movie directed by Boris Grigoryev and based on the novel by Yulian Semyonov. A group of MUR (Moscow Criminal Police) detectives investigate a series of heists. The movie is entitled after the adress of MUR head office on the Petrovka street. Petrovka, 38 was followed by a sequel Ogaryova, 6 (note: the sequel lacks any firearms).

Makarov PM
Makarov PM pistols are used by MUR detectives Maj. Kostenko (Vasili Lanovoy) and Lt. Roslyakov (Yevgeni Gerasimov).
Tokarev TT-33
In the final scene old criminal "Prokhor" (Nikolai Kryukov) uses a TT-33. Kostenko's PM switches to a TT in a continuty error.
Walther PP
A Walther PP in 9mm caliber is stolen by Lyonya Samsonov (Aleksandr Egorov) from his father.
