:: I restored this page, because some of the sci fi weapons were built around real guns. I don't have the exact details, but will make it a task to research which guns were used as the basis for the sci fi weapons. This page is weak, I admit, but I hope to get better images and information on the weapons used. [[User:MoviePropMaster2008|MoviePropMaster2008]] 08:23, 22 May 2009 (UTC) | |||

Pistols
Handgun
The standard United Systems Military Sidearm. It is famously used by Johner Ron Perlman in both hands, to dispatch the Alien hanging on Christie's (Gary Dourdan) leg.
Zipgun
Call's (Winona Ryder) Zipgun, which she gives to Wren, who shoots her.
Arm-Anchored Pistols
Christie's (Gary Dourdan) main handgun in the movie, he keeps two on arm-anchors, similarily to Antonio Banderas's character in Desperado. After the Gym scene, he is only seen with one, with which he threatens Wren with, and tries to kill the Alien hanging on his leg, in his final moments.
1911
When Johner (Ron Perlman), Christie (Gary Dourdan), and Call (Winona Ryder) are watching the Home Shopping network, one of the various objects displayed is some various 1911 clone. It resembles the Colt/Detonics 1911 Hybrid seen in Terminator 2.
Shotguns
Concealed Carry Double-Barreled shotgun
A Shotgun is seen on Vriess' Wheel chair, disassembled. He assembles it when Vriess sees an Alien in the Cieling. It later Jams after going through the flooded kitchen. It leaves Christie (Gary Dourdan) to fend for himself against the Alien hanging on his leg.
Rifles
Shockrifle 'Burner'
The Standard Assault Rifle weapon used by United Systems Military. It's main setting is a Shock setting similar to that of a taser, but without causing physical harm. That setting is used on Ripley 8 (Sigourney Weaver) when she is strangling Wren. It's backup setting allows it to fire solid slugs. This is the setting seen used by DiStephano right up until the end, Johner (Ron Perlman). The weapon is also very notably dual-wielded by Elgyn, but he never gets to use it.
Incinerator 'Flamer'
This is one of the most versatile weapons available to the United Systems Military. It is primarily a Flame thrower unit, but can be used as an Assault Rifle and a Grenade Launcher. The Assault Rifle mode is seen used by Johner (Ron Perlman) at the end of the film when killing the Alien that had birthed from Purvis through Wren's forehead.
Grenade Launchers
Incinerator 'Flamer'
This is one of the most versatile weapons available to the United Systems Military. It is primarily a Flame thrower unit, but can be used as an Assault Rifle and a Grenade Launcher. The Grenade launcher mode is seen used by Johner (Ron Perlman) in the Flooded Kitchen, it is fired at one Alien, but it dodges it, only for it to destroy the other one.
Concealed Carry Grenade Launcher
Another of Vriess' concealed disassembled weapons, it is unknown where he stores it, but he is seen assembling it after the 'What were you expecting, Santa Claus?' line. It is later used by Christie (Gary Dourdan) to destroy the egg trap set by the Aliens, right after the flood Kitchen.
Other
Incinerator 'Flamer'
This is one of the most versatile weapons available to the United Systems Military. It is primarily a Flame thrower unit, but can be used as an Assault Rifle and a Grenade Launcher. The Flamethrower mode is seen used by Ripley 8 (Sigourney Weaver) to destroy the previous seven attempts at recreating the Queen.
'Thermos' Gun
The 'Thermos Gun' is snuck through security by Johner (Ron Perlman) with the crass quip 'My own Recipe, way more dangerous'.
Trivia
When Ron Perlman was hanging from the ladder with the two handguns mentioned above, he found that he had severely cut up the backs of his legs during the filming of the scene.
Just an aside.Notice in this film, you can see the bullets sometimes, most notably in the ladder scene.Jean-Pierre Jeunet is French, like Luc Besson.Seen the scene in The Transporter when Frank(Jason Statham)gets his house shot up?Visible bullets again.Looks cool, and separates from Hollywood action a bit, methinks
