John Bryson (1923-2005) was an American actor/photographer who was cast in three films directed by [[Sam Peckinpah]], including ''[[Getaway, The (1972)|The Getaway]]'', ''[[Convoy]]'' and ''[[The Osterman Weekend]]''. He began his career as a photographer for ''Life'' magazine, but would later contribute independently to such publications as ''Look'' and ''Holiday''. Among his best-known photographs was of artist Salvador Dali wearing a crown made of sausages. He began his career as a photographer for Life magazine, but would later contribute independently to such publications as Look and Holiday. Among his best-known photographs was of artist Salvador Dali wearing a crown made of sausages. He would also photograph many well known celebrities, including Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, John Wayne, and Clint Eastwood in addition to President John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert Kennedy.
