The Lost Battalion is a 1919 American silent World War I film about units of the 77th Sustainment Brigade surrounded by German forces in the Argonne Forest. The movie featers many actual soldiers of the Battalion who portrayed themselves. In 2001 the move was remade by Russell Mulcahy.
