Former US Marine, one 8 month tour in Afghanistan (2013-2014). Two-year duty station with an Artillery Unit in Okinawa, Japan (2010-2012). Acted as a translator in Operation Tomodachi (2011). Conducted Joint Field Operations with the Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) and Republic of Korea (ROK) Marines.
