The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the Swedish feature film adaptation of Stieg Larsson's novel of the same name. The film starred Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace. The film was released in 2009 along with its two sequels (The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest). A US remake directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara was released in 2011.
