A Quiet Place is a 2018 American post-apocalyptic horror survival thriller co-written, directed by and starring John Krasinski as Lee Talbot, who along with his pregnant wife Evelyn (Krasinski's real life wife Emily Blunt), attempt to keep their family alive in a world where the Earth has been invaded by a race of powerful aliens who rely totally on their hearing to find their prey: the human race. When the story begins, most of the Human race has already been decimated, and the Talbot family survive by living as quietly as possible. As much of the movie has no spoken dialogue, the Talbots are mostly seen communicating through American Sign Language (explained in the film that one of their children is deaf and the family knows ASL as a result).

Browning BPS
Both Lee Talbot (John Krasinski) and Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) use a Browning BPS against the aliens. Evelyn uses it with particular effectiveness at the movie's climax.
