Downton Abbey is a British television series produced for the ITV broadcaster, with the idea and most of the scripts being written by Julian Fellowes (Tomorrow Never Dies). Downton Abbey is about the fate of a noble family and its staff at the beginning of the 20th century, major events and upheavals (such as the sinking of the Titanic, the introduction of women's suffrage, the outbreak of the First World War and the Spanish flu, the Irish Revolutionary War).
