Syndicate-2 (Sindikat-2) is a Soviet 1981 adventure 6-part mini series directed by Mark Orlov. The story, based on real events, depicts the Operation "Syndicate-2", implemented by the Soviet OGPU in 1922-24 against Boris Savinkov, the prominent person in anti-Bolshevik movement.
The following weapons were used in the film Syndicate-2 (Sindikat-2):
Revolvers
Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely seen throughout the series. All Nagants in the movie are of anachronistic post-1930 version.
Custom Nagant M1895
Dryomov (Artyom Inozemtsev), Savinkov's agent in Kiev, carries the Nagant revolver with removed ejector rod housing and front sight and fitted with custom wide grips. Later the same prop is seen in hands of Ivanov (Igor Starikov), Pavlovskiy's henchman.
Pistols
Mauser C96
A Mauser C96 is used by Sergey Pavlovskiy (Nikolay Olyalin) when he, disguised as a Red Army commander, breaks across the Soviet-Polish border. Mauser C96 pistols are also used by OGPU personnel.
Walther P38
Anachronistic Walther P38 is used by Ivan Fomichyov (Petr Shelokhonov), Savinkov's envoy.
FN Model 1903 or TT-33
When crossing the Soviet-Polish border, Boris Savinkov (Yevgeni Lebedev) holds a pistol that is seen only in distance. The general outlook allows to guess it to be original FN Model 1903 or similar looking TT-33 that was often used in films as a substitution for FN 1903.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 Rifle
Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M1891s, are used by soldiers, border guards and prison guards in several scenes.
Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine
Anachronistic Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines are also seen.
Karabiner 98k
Polish border guards are armed with anachronistic Karabiner 98k rifles, probably standing for Karabinek Wz. 1898, Polish version of Mauser 98AZ.
Machine guns
Maxim M1910/30
Maxim M1910/30 machine guns, standing for original M1910s, are seen in the scene on the rebellion in in the town of Rybinsk in 1918.
Trivia
Holsters
Some characters carry holsters for sidearms but they seem rather flat and empty.
