Scarface is a 1932 gangster film that stars Paul Muni as the title character, and follows his rise from an immigrant to a high level mobster in 1920's Chicago. The feature film remake starring Al Pacino was released in 1983.
The following weapons were used in the film Scarface (1932):
Pistols
Colt Model 1902 Sporting Model
Tony Camonte (Paul Muni) pulls a Colt M1902 Sporting Model out when he hears the police pull up during his haircut, giving it to his barber to hide. One is also seen hanging in the middle of his arsenal in his bedroom.
Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless
Tony's sister Cesca (Ann Dvorak) holds him at gunpoint with a white-gripped Colt Model 1903 Hammerless.
Colt M1911
Several gangsters use Colt M1911s. One can be seen on a table when Tony Camonte (Paul Muni) is loading a Thompson and others can be seen in his personal armory in his bedroom.
Revolvers
Colt New Service Model 1909
Inspector Ben Guarino (C. Henry Gordon) carries a Colt New Service with a lanyard ring. The revolver that Poppy (Karen Morley) loads and tosses to Tony (Paul Muni) inside the social club also has a lanyard ring.
Colt Police Positive
Guino Rinaldo (George Raft) keeps a nickel Colt Police Positive with white grips as his main sidearm, kept in a leather holster.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Tony Camonte (Paul Muni) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 10 (then under the nomenclature of a Smith & Wesson M&P) to shoot his friend Guino (George Raft). Tony also uses one to shoot Big Louie during the film's opening scene.
Submachine Guns
Colt M1921A Thompson
Tony Camonte (Paul Muni) uses a Colt M1921A Thompson during the latter half of the film, which Guino (George Raft) had stolen from one of Gaffney's (Boris Karloff) assassins. Guarino (C. Henry Gordon) also carries a Thompson while leading the police at Camonte's apartment during the finale.
Other
Tony's arsenal
Inside Tony's bedroom, behind a hidden wall, is a small arsenal of firearms which he and Cesca run to during the final shootout with police. Tony takes an unidentified rifle from it and gives it to Cesca.
