Up in the Air is a 2009 comedy-drama Directed by Jason Reitman and starring George Clooney, as Ryan Bingham, who travels around the country working for a company that specializes in firing workers from companies. The film was based on the 2001 novel of the same name that was written by Walter Kirn and the cast included Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick, and Jason Bateman.
