Einstossflammenwerfer 46. The front of the weapon is on the left.

Einstossflammenwerfer 46 (literally "single shot flamethrower", other names Volksflammerwerfer 46 ("people's flamethrower") and Abwehrflammenwerfer 46 ("defence flamethrower")) is a German single shot disposable flamethrower, put into service in 1944. It was intended for Fallschirmjäger (paratroopers) but saw most action in hands of Volkssturm. About 30,700 pieces were manufactured. From its visual similarity to the tanks of the later Soviet LPO-50 flamethrower, it was probably similar in function, using an explosive compression charge to fire rather than a propellant gas reservoir as on a conventional flamethrower, emptying the fuel tank in about half a second.
