Tom Clancy's EndWar is a real-time tactics game designed by Ubisoft Shanghai for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows platforms. The Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable versions feature turn-based tactics instead of the real-time tactics of their console counterparts. It was released on November 4, 2008 in the United States, November 6, 2008 in Canada, and November 8, 2008 in Europe. A Windows version was released on February 24, 2009.
The following weapons appear in the 2008 video game Tom Clancy's EndWar:
M16A2
An M16A2 with an underbarrel grenade launcher is used by the US Army. The underbarrel grenade launcher doesn't look like an M203, looking instead like the fake underbarrel grenade launcher M203 mockup used in the film Predator.
Heckler & Koch XM8 Carbine
The US Joint Strike Force Ghosts and Pioneers use a Heckler & Koch XM8 Carbine, named XM9 in-game.
In real life, the XM8 was turned down by the US Army for its high cost, bare minimum improvement over the M16A4 and the ineffectiveness of variants when compared with purpose-designed weapons in the same class.
FN SCAR-H
Named the SCAR A1 in-game, the JSF Ghosts and Pioneers use this rifle.
FAMAS
The FAMAS is used by the EU Army.
FN F2000
The European Federation Enforcer Corps Kommandos and Grenadiers use a heavily-customized FN F2000, dubbed E3000 in-game.
AKMS
The AKMS is used by the Ru-20 Russian Army drone bodyguard escorts.
AKS-74UB
A Russian SGB Wolf operative is depicted with an AKS-74UB with a GSN-19 grenade launcher 30mm grenade launcher in the game's concept artwork.
AS Val
A Russian SGB Wolf operative is depicted holding an AS Val with a PSO-1 scope in the game's concept artwork.
Izhmash AK-74M
Heavily-customized Izhmash AK74M rifles are used by the Russian Wolves and Bears from the Spetsnaz Guard Brigade.
Barrett M107
Named the M120 in-game, the Barrett M107 is used by JSF snipers.
