Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler is a 1922 german thriller directed by Fritz Lang and is starring Rudolf Klein-Rogge as Dr. Mabuse(a doctor using his hypnotic powers to commit crimes).
The following weapons were used in the film Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler:
Pistols
Frommer Stop
The Frommer Stop pistol is the personal sidearm of state-prosecutor von Wenk(Bernhard Goetzke). It is later seen in the hands of the police Chief.
Dreyse Model 1907
In a continuity error, during the final scene, von Wenk(Bernhard Goetzke)'s handgun changes to a Dreyse Model 1907 pistol.
Revolvers
Webley Bulldog
Police officers use short-barreled revolvers during the attack on the house.Their shape and lack of trigger guard indicates a belgian produced Webley Bulldog .
Colt M1917
Hawasch(Károly Huszár) and Georg(Hans Adalbert von Schlettow) both have revolvers.Despite being hardly seen, their unsupported rod and appearance indicate Colt M1917 revolvers. State prosecutor von Wenk(Bernhard Goetzke) is also seen using one.
Unknown revolver
When running low on ammo, Hawasch attempts to fire a revolver. It is briefly seen, however it strongly reassembles a Nagant M1895 revolver.
Rifles
Gewehr 1871
The Mauser Gewehr 1871 is the most utilised weapon in the film. The german soldiers are using Mauser Gewehr 1871 rifles(both full length and carbine versions) during the attack on the house. Hawasch(Karoly Huszar), Dr. Mabuse(Rudolf Klein-Rogge),Fine and Spoerri all use carbines versions of the same rifle during the shootout. One full length rifle is also used fired from a house, by an unknown shooter.
Explosives
Fake Stielhandgranate
The assault troops and state-prosecutor von Wenk(Bernhard Goetzke) are using fake hand grenades in an attempt to break the door of the house. Note:real explosions are occuring, but they were caused by(most likely) petards, and not hand grenades.
Hidden Bomb
Pesch(Georg John) and Spoerri(Robert Forster Larinaga) are seen hiding a bomb inside a toolbox.
TRIVIA:In order to detonate the bomb, Pesch throws the toolbox inside a room(hitting it hardly against the floor).
