Dr. Mabuse,the Gambler is a 1922 german thriller directed by Fritz Lang and is starring Rudolf Klein-Rogge as Dr. Mabuse(a doctor using his hypnotic powers to commit crimes).

The Frommer Stop pistol is the personal sidearm of state-prosecutor von Wenk(Bernhard Goetzke).It is later seen in the hands of the police Chief.

The Mauser Gewehr 1871 is the most utilised weapon in the film.The german soldiers are using Mauser Gewehr 1871 rifles(both full length and carbine versions) during the attack on the house. Hawasch(Karoly Huszar), Dr. Mabuse(Rudolf Klein-Rogge),Fine and Spoerri all use carbines versions of the same rifel during the shootout.One full length rifle is also used fired from a house, by an unknown shooter.
