The Foreigner is a 2017 action, thriller film directed by Martin Campbell, staring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan. Chan stars Ngoc Minh Quan, a British-Vietnamese citizen who's daughter is killed in a bombing in London. He tries to get the names of the bombers from a government official, played by Brosnan, who apparently knows their identities. When that fails, he is willing to betray his country to get the answers he's after.

A Colt XM177 Commando can be seen held by Quan (Jackie Chan) in a photo taken during his service days in Vietnam. It is hard to tell if it is either an XM177E1 or XM177E2 in the photograph as it is cut off towards the bottom.
