Max is a 2015 family adventure film that features a US Marine canine named Max, whose Marine handler Kyle is killed in Afghanistan. When the canine cannot continue with the military duties, Max is sent to live with the Marine's family. The family soon learns that the only person that Max can relate to is Justin, Kyle's teenage brother. The film would spawn an unlikely 2017 sequel, Max 2: White House Hero.
