Reminder

Still to be added are the M60 'Shorty', M60 SASR modified and the Socom M60's with M203 or under barrel shotgun.--The Mercenary 19:41, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

- I sure wouldn't mind seeing those, though I doubt they've been used in anything. StanTheMan 20:10, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

An M60 with a m203, that is something I must see at least one time in my life. VillageFroid 18:47, 1st September 2010 (UTC)

- Well, there's search engines like Google Image search for that. Here, we document only guns that are used in a movie or one of the other forms of media we have on the site. StanTheMan 21:58, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Hey guys, the third 60 in the M60E3 section is actually a E4 because of the larger fore-grip. I don't have an account, so could you guys please change it for me.

Mk43 Mod 0

Isn't the Mod 0 exactly the same as the M60E4? Evil Tim (talk) 19:15, 28 April 2013 (EDT)

According to the manufacturer, the Mod 0 has a railed top cover which the M60E4 does not have - only the M60E6. --bozitojugg3rn4ut (talk) 20:52, 28 April 2013 (EDT)
Not sure about that, the manufacturer seems to refer to them as the same thing, calling the gun the M60E4/Mk43. There was a diference in early guns, with the M60E4 having a bird cade flash hider and the Mk43 Mod 0 having an open ended duckbill one. However later guns that have the railed handguard are referred to as both the M60E4 and the Mk43 Mod 1. TBH honest I had never heard of the M60E6 before, but I don't think anyone actually uses it. The later model M60E4/Mk43 Mod 1 has a railed top cover as well, so that is not the difference between that and the M60E6. I think the M60E6 has a number of small improvements and tweaks, like a different stock and pistol grip, QD sling mounts, a different ammo hanger, and an improved attachment pin on the trigger assembly. There are also some internal modifications like improving the belt pull and hard chroming some internal components to make cleaning easier. --commando552 (talk) 04:57, 29 April 2013 (EDT)

Chronological order

WTH with chronological order on the original M60 section? It differs in direction from section to section and that's not the worse thing because video game and anime section are just wrecked up. I think I'll correct the thing right now. --Kloga (talk) 15:42, 21 November 2013 (EST)

The sections need to all be chronologically ordered. Some seem ok but a few (notably the M60 film section) are reverse-chronologically ordered while a couple ones are just all over the place (seems to be the game sections mainly). By all means fix them up. StanTheMan (talk) 23:17, 21 November 2013 (EST)

M60C and M-6E3 Weapons System

Despite both having the same three movies I'm asking admins to save M-6E3 weapon system. It's really hard to find any information on both things on the web, as well as the pictures (especially for the second one) and IMFDB is among the first results, so having a separate sections for both is a matter of information. It's just my opinion, and I will not argue if it will be deleted, but still M60C is not exclusively being used in that only system, so it may require restoration when any other system which uses M60C appears. --Kloga (talk) 21:41, 18 December 2013 (EST)
