The Death Ray (Луч смерти; Luch smerti) is a Soviet 1925 B&W science fiction movie directed by Lev Kuleshov and Vsevolod Pudovkin. The Soviet inventor Podobed creates the "death ray", the powerful weapon capable of making explosions at distance. The invention is stolen by the agent of unnamed unfriendly state. There the "death ray" is used against labor strikes, but the revolted workers manage to seize the device and destroy military aviation sent against them.
Note: The original film is a severely damaged, so, restored, but watermarked version is used.
The following weapons were used in the film The Death Ray (Luch smerti):
Police commissioneer (ucredited) uses FN Model 1910.
Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"
Several Fascists, including Father Revo (Vsevolod Pudovkin), use Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" pistols. Father Revo gives it to Female shooter (Aleksandra Khokhlova), but she immediately gives it back. Only a single pistol can be seen at a time, so, it's most likely a single movie prop.
Walther Model 9
Female shooter (Aleksandra Khokhlova) gives the Walther Model 9 to Shura (L. Strabinskaya). Another Walther (most likely, the same movie prop) can be seen in the hands of one of the bodyguards.
Pieper Bayard 1908
The Pieper Bayard 1908 can be briefly seen in the hands of another bodyguard.
One Provocateur draws an unknown revolver at the film climax.
Rifles
Vetterli-Vitali rifle M1870/87
Vetterli-Vitali rifle M1870/87 can be seen on the ground near the killed rebbel. Another Vetterli Rifle (most likely, the same movie prop) is seen a few feets aside.
