The following firearms were used in the film I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang:
Smith & Wesson 4th Model
Pete (Preston Foster) draws a Smith & Wesson 4th Model on the hamburger stand operator, using it to convince James Allen (Paul Muni) to help him rob it.
- I think this may be a Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless, called the "Lemon Squeezer" due to its grip safety. It doesn't appear to have a hammer, which supports my claim. - Gunmaster45
Smith & Wesson M&P revolver
The policemen (one of which played by Lee Shumway) who arrest James Allen for the hamburger stand robbery carry Smith & Wesson M&P revolvers.
Winchester Model 1897
Most of the guards (one of which is played by Harry Woods) of the Merritt County chain gang carry Winchester Model 1897 shotguns.
Winchester Model 1892
One of the guards (the one leading the dogs) during Allen's first escape has a Winchester Model 1892. Two guards fire at Allen with Model 92s from their car during his second escape.
