A fictional future variant of the G36, G36K, and G36C compatible with vanilla 6.8mm "STANAG" magazines, used on the also fictional (albeit canon) MX rifle. These are equipped with KAC rails (also usable on equivalent 5.56 G36 variants) and have a modified magwell meant to accommodate the different magazines. According to creator's headcanon, they were created to compete in NATO's "2025 6.8mm STANAG trials" against various other rifles to transition the standard intermediate cartridge from 5.56x45mm to 6.8mm.
