Revolver

I have a guess that Shura's revolver is a Nagant M1910. Lt. Dub's revolver also resembles Nagant but the shape of the grip is a little unusual so I cannot say for sure. Greg-Z (talk) 12:35, 11 June 2013 (EDT)

Three years passed, and I came across a discussion about this film on Russian Guns.ru web site. First, the revolver that I guessed to be Nagant 1910 is identified as Nagant 1895 with short 3.3" barrel and with removed ejector rod and its socket. Second, the revolver that belonged to Lt. Dub and is used by Pvt. Strašlipka is not a Nagant but a Smith & Wesson 44 Hand Ejector Series (1st Model "Triple Lock" or Mk II Hand Ejector version), identified by typical shrouded ejector rod.
