The Monuments Men is a 2014 World War II film directed by and starring George Clooney. The film is based on the true story of a special Allied unit composed of mostly scholars and curators tasked with finding pieces of art stolen by the Germans during the war. The film's cast includes Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, and Bob Balaban.

The Colt M1911A1 is notably held by Sgt. Richard Campbell (Bill Murray) when he and Pvt. Preston Savitz (Bob Balaban) have a conversation with a family who kept stolen paintings in their house. Lt. James Granger (Matt Damon) also is seen holding the pistol.
A British soldier fires a Webley .455 Mk VI at the shooting range in England. The Webley also appear to be the revolver carried by Lt. Donald Jeffries (Hugh Bonneville).
A Browning M1919A4 is seen mounted on the Higgins Boat transporting the men to France as well as various US Army jeeps.

When Stokes and company meet up in Britain, an Army Air Force B-17 Flying Fortress can be seen, complete with Browning M2 Aircraft heavy machine guns as defensive armament.
