Glock 17
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the sidearm carried by both Detective Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) and Det. Juliet O'Hara (Maggie Lawson) in the first four seasons.  Det. Lassiter is seen wearing his Glock in various shoulder rigs, even having a quick draw dual from his shoulder holster.  In Season 4's "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark", Shawn Spencer (James Roday) is seen firing Lassiter's Glock while hanging on the hood of a car.  Detective Lassiter also is seen dual wielding these in the bar in Season 4's "Shawn Gets the Yips".  Most recently he has been using an Alessi Bodyguard shoulder rig for his sidearm (when Timothy Omundson broke his arm in real life, he had to use hip holsters as he had a sling).  In Season 4's "Mr. Yin Presents", Det. O'Hara is seen pulling her Glock when investigating an abandoned bar.  Burton "Gus" Guster (Dulé Hill) then is seen holding her sidearm. In Season 5's "We'd Like To Thank the Academy", Shawn is seen training at the police academy with the Glock and purposely shooting a civilian target, explaining she must be a criminal to have food in a library that doesn't allow snacks.

Also note, in the coroner's office Woody says he was able to tell the shot came from a Winchester 70 rifle. He said he could tell this just by looking at the wound. While it is true that he could have been able to figure out that the wound came from a .30-06, he could not actually have figured out what particular .30-06 shot the victim.
