The film co-stars Trey Songz, Scott Eastwood , Tania Reymonde, Shaun Sipos, Keram Malicki-Sánchez, Thom Barry, and Paul Rae. The film also features cameos from Marilyn Burns and Gunnar Hansen (Sally Hardesty and "Leatherface" in the original 1974 film.

In a continuity error, Marvin's Jericho becomes a Beretta 92FS in two scenes. Mayor Burt Hartman (Paul Rae) explicitly refers to the handgun as an "Eagle", referring to the Jericho's nickname "Baby Eagle".
