The Colt M4A1 is used by several US troops including Private Barnes (Taylor Kinney) and Richie Lanz (Bill Murray).
CAR-15
The weapon carried by Bombay Brian (Bruce Willis) appears to be a CAR-15.
AKM
AKM rifles are carried by Afghan troops as well as Pashto and Taliban.
AKMS
An AKMS is seen used as well.
Machine Guns
Browning M3 Heavy Machine Gun
The Browning M3 is seen mounted on military humvees as well as private contractor vehicles.
