:I'm curious if that actually appears to cycle properly in the movie or if it is CG. An M249 barely works with a normal 30 rounder let alone one of those. I can't really think of a reason why they would choose to do this in the first place as it looks frankly ridiculous. Only possible reasoning I can think of is if they always meant for the firing the be CG and this is a lot easier to hide with a magazine rather than a belt. --commando552 (talk) 19:09, 12 April 2016 (EDT) | :I'm curious if that actually appears to cycle properly in the movie or if it is CG. ::IIRC the newer Magpul and Surefire mags work just fine in the SAW. Something about stronger springs or something.--Mandolin (talk) 20:52, 12 April 2016 (EDT) | |||

Revision as of 00:52, 13 April 2016
Was watching some B-roll footage, noticed an odd setup at about 0:42. Winter Soldier/Bucky has a M249 Para with a 100-round Surefire casket mag. Thought it was interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g09iIQzFSAk --Mandolin (talk) 17:10, 12 April 2016 (EDT)

BTS footage
This B-roll footage gives nice stable shots of what will probably be very frenetic action scenes in the movie. Easy to see the guns being used.
