The Purge is a 2013 horror/thriller set in a future United States where the government has granted one 12 hour period during the year where all crimes are legal. Ethan Hawke stars as a security systems salesman whose family is put in danger when their home is threatened by those participating in the Purge. The sequel, The Purge: Anarchy, was released in 2014.

Handguns
Beretta 92FS Inox
The "Polite Leader" (Rhys Wakefield) uses a Beretta 92FS Inox to kill one of his goons.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
One of the Purgers also carries a chrome Desert Eagle Mark XIX.
Glock 19
A Purger uses a 2nd Generation Glock 19 in an attempt to kill James.
IJ-70
Henry (Tony Oller) uses a IJ-70 when he tries to kill James. The "Bloody Stranger" later uses it to defend himself from the Purgers breaking into the house.
Kimber Warrior
After giving his Raging Bull to his son, James Sandin (Ethan Hawke) switches his sidearm to a Kimber Warrior.
Ruger KP95
A Ruger KP95 with a stainless slide is also seen in James's safe. Mary Sandin (Lena Headey) later takes it when she goes to look for her daughter.
SIG-Sauer P226
When the Purgers break into the house, Mary trades her Ruger P95 for a SIG-Sauer P226.
Smith & Wesson 915
One of the Purgers and the "Bloody Stranger" (Edwin Hodge) carry what appear to be Smith & Wesson 915s.
Taurus PT92AFS
When the Purgers break into the house, Mary arms herself with a stainless Taurus PT92AFS.

Some of the Neighbors use Taurus PT945 handguns.

James keeps a Mossberg 590 Chainsaw in his safe as well. He later uses it to kill the Purgers who broke into his house.

In the "Behind the Scenes" footage, a Purger is seen with a SPAS-12 shotgun sans folding stock.
