Smith & Wesson Model 29
Inspector "Dirty" Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) returns with his ".44 Magnum", a Smith & Wesson Model 29 (this time not a Model 25 standing in) as his famous sidearm in the film. According to the dialogue, Callahan .44 loads are in fact .44 Special ammunition, as indicated by the following dialogue. "It's a light Special. This size gun it gives you better control and less recoil than a .357 Magnum with wadcutters."
Colt Python
All the rogue motorcycle cops in the death squad and Lt. Briggs are armed with these .357 Magnum revolvers and use them on multiple occasions, fitted with suppressors. Suppressors do not actually work on most revolvers because of the small gap between the cylinder and the barrel.
M1A1 Thompson
Frank Palencio's men use the weapon in the shootout between their gang and San Francisco Police Department.
Winchester Model 1897
Mob boss Frank Palencio kills one of the death squad officers with the weapon, shortly before the shootout.
Smith & Wesson M76
The Smith & Wesson M76 submachine gun is seen during the scene where one of the death squad officers uses it to kill a large number of underworld folks at a swimming pool party.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
During the plane hijack, the two hijackers use the Model 10 as their weapons. When Harry infiltrates the plane as a pilot, he knocks out one of them and using the gun, kills the other hijacker with the weapon.
When Callahan and Smith are assigned on the stakeout mission at the acessory store, one of the robbers pulls a Model 10 on Early Smith and the store clerks.
Colt Diamondback
Callahan's partner, Inspector Early Smith (Felton Perry), carries a snubnose Colt Diamondback.
Double Barrel Shotgun
When Callahan and Smith are assigned on the stakeout mission at the acessory store, one of the robber holds a double barrel shotgun on Smith before the robber is shot by Callahan.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Before he is executed, the murderous pimp (Albert Popwell) places this gun under his seat when one of the vigilante cops pulls him over and approaches him.
Unknown bolt action rifle
When back-up arrives to assist Callahan and his officers during the shootout with Frank Palencio and his men, a SFPD detective opens fire upon the mobsters with a bolt action rifle (fitted with scope).
Browning Hi-Power
During the stakeout scene, one of three robbers pulls out a Browning Hi-Power.
