The Steyr MP34 (Maschinenpistole 34, literally "Machine Pistol 34") - submachine gun, developed on the basis of an experimental German submachine gun Rheinmetall MP19 system of Louis Stange. Produced in Austria and Switzerland, it was widely offered for export. Steyr MP34 is often regarded as one of the best submachine guns from the interwar period, bating the nickname "Rolls Royce of submachine guns".
