Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA (緋弾のアリアAA Hidan no Aria AA) is an ongoing anime television series animated by Studio Doga Kobo. The series started airing since October 6, 2015.
In this story, a system known as "Butei" (abbreviation of Busou Tantei[武装探偵], meaning "Armed Detective") was established as a qualification course to help curb the worsening crime rates in the world. Several specializations made into divisions exist for the "Butei" system, but all have the right to be armed and could arrest criminals as long as it falls under the conduct of the "Butei Law".
This is a spin-off to the original 2011 released Aria the Scarlet Ammo.
The following weapons were used in the anime series Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA:
Pistols
Colt Government Model
Aria H. Kanzaki's pair of Colt Government Model handguns return for the series. One with a blued finish, the other stainless steel. Both weapons have custom grips similar to Hogue wraparound rubber 1911 grips and triggers, and the blued one seems to have the slide release, thumb safety, and trigger colored crimson. Akari Mamiya also has a regular Colt Government Model as her choice of weapon.
Glock pistol series
A poorly rendered Glock pistol could be seen in the hands of a Butei member.
Tokarev TT-33
Some criminals use Tokarev TT-33 pistols.
Revolvers
Ruger Super Redhawk
Urara Takachiho uses a Ruger Super Redhawk with a stock.
Submachine Guns
Micro Uzi
Akari Mamiya uses a paintball Micro Uzi in her rank test. When she isn't carrying the M1911, a real-steel Micro Uzi is her weapon of choice.
Assault Rifles
AKS-74
A criminal wields an AKS-74 rifle in their operation.
AKMS
A criminal wields an AKMS.
M4 Carbine
Shino Sasaki was seen holding a scoped M4.
Heckler & Koch G11
Akari Mamiya was seen holding a Heckler & Koch G11.
Battle Rifles
IMI Romat
Raika Hino was seen holding an IMI Romat. Aria identified it as a FAL.
Sniper Rifles
SVD Dragunov
