Bukit Kepong is the 1982 Malaysian war film based on the true story of the Bukit Kepong tragedy. The film chronicles the heroic of Bukit Kepong police officers fight against communist forces after communist launched an attack the police station during the Malayan Emergency 1948-1960. Jins Shamsudin starred in the film as Bukit Kepong police sergeant, Jamil Mohd Shah.

Webley .38 Mk IV
The Webley .38 Mk IV is the service revolver seen carried by every police chief during the Malayan Emergency. In the film, the Webley Mk IV is used by Sargeant Jamil Mohd Shah (Jins Shamsudin) as his sidearm. The Webley Mk IV was also seen in the hands of the communist henchmen during execute the traitors.

Sten Mk II
The Sten Mk II submachine guns used by one of the the Communist gunmen and Malay Regiment troop.
Sten Mk V
The Sten Mk V is the standard submachine gun for Federation of Malaya Police and Malay Regiment troops in the film, most featured had the forward pistol grip removed. Also, it has been used by the gunmens of the Malayan Communist Party. In the film, the Sten is used by Bukit Kepong police chief Sargeant Jamil Mohd Shah and Constable Jaafar Hassan (Yusof Haslam) as they try to defend the station by communist forces.

Lee-Enfield No 4 Mk 1*
The Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk 1* is the standard service rifle seen carried by the majority of the Federation of Malaya Police officers. The No.4 Mk 1* rifle was also seen in the hands of the gunmens of Malayan Communist Party and the Malay Regiment troops.
Lee-Enfield No 1 Mk 3*
The Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk 3* is seen being carried by the Malayan communists, auxilliary police officers, villagers and Malay Regiment troops.
M1 Carbine
The M1 Carbine is also seen used by communist gunmens and Malay Regiments in the film.

Bren Mk I light machine guns are also used by the Federation of Malaya Police, Communist gunmens and Malay Regiment troops.
