Batalion (Original title: Batalyon - Russian: Батальонъ) is a 2015 Russian war drama about the biography of Mariya Bochkareva, was a Russian woman who fought in World War I and formed the Women's "Battalion of Death".
The following weapons were used in the film Batalion:
Handguns
Nagant M1895
Mariya Bochkareva (Mariya Aronova), her deputy Lt. Seleznev (Nikolay Auzin), both instructors - Yefim Zadorozhnyy (Konstantin Vorobyov) and Alexey Kolokolchikov (Yakov Shamshin) and msot Russian officers carry a Russian Nagant M1895. The revolvers are mostly of post-1930 version.
Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"
German officers in the film can be seen exclusively with a C96 Mauser "Broomhandle" pistol in hand.
Rifles
Mosin Nagant M1891/30
Women from "Battalion of Death" are armed with Soviet Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifles, standing for original M1891s.
Mosin Nagant M1891
Original Mosin Nagant M1891 rifles also can be seen, although much less frequently. They have rifle slings fitted in holes in the stock, not in swivels, so they appear to be M1891 Dragoon rifles.
Mauser Gewehr 98
Many of Imperial German soldiers are armed with Gewehr 98 rifles.
Mauser 98AZ Artillery Carbine
Some German soldiers are seen with Mauser 98AZ Artillery Carbines.
Czech vz. 24
A German soldier who leaps into the trench holds a rifle who is similar to VZ-24 Czech Mauser.
Karabiner 98k
Most German infantrymen also used a classic Karabiner 98ks.
Machine Guns
Madsen machine gun
Private Dusya Grynyova (Yanina Malinchik) seized a Madsen machine gun in German trench.
Maxim M1910
Lt. Nikolay Seleznev (Nikolay Auzin) and Vera Neklyudova (Valeriya Shkirando) a Maxim machine gun manned jointly.
Maxim MG08
On the edge of the trench is seen the German MG08 machine gun.
Grenades
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
German soldiers and also one of women-volunteers use a anachronistic Model 24 Stielhandgranates.
RG-14/30
Private Serafima Pluzhnikova (Anna Kuznetsova) is seen used RG-14/30 hand grenades in the German trench.
Other
Gaswurfminen mortar (mockup)
German artillery used mortars for firing gas-grenades. They appear to be mockups that bear only marginally resemblance with real Gaswurfminen.
