S.W.A.T.: Firefight is a 2011 DTV sequel to the film S.W.A.T. (2003). In this film (which is a sequel in name only), LAPD SWAT officer Paul Cutler (Gabriel Macht) is assigned to train officers of the Detroit Police Department in the latest tactics. The story for this film was co-written by three former LAPD SWAT officers.

Handguns
IMI/Magnum Desert Eagle Mark XIX
A Desert Eagle Mark XIX is held by a thug in the opening scene. He fires into the air to scare people and later holds it on a hostage.
SIG-Sauer P226R
Sgt. Paul Cutler (Gabriel Macht) carries a SIG-Sauer P226R as his sidearm in the film. Some of the LAPD officers and Detroit SWAT officers also use P226s.
Smith & Wesson 5906
Walter Hatch (Robert Patrick) uses a Smith & Wesson 5906 throughout most of the film which is somewhat amusing considering it's a very popular cop gun.
SIG-Sauer P229
Walter Hatch uses a SIG-Sauer P229 with a nickel-plated slide during the office scene. When he is disarmed, his hostage Rose (Kristanna Loken) picks the gun up. Some LAPD and SWAT officers use standard P229s with and without railed frames as their sidearms in the film.
Glock 17
A Detroit police officer is seen with a 2nd Generation Glock 17.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Alongside the Colt Law Enforcement Carbine, S.W.A.T. Officers also use Heckler & Koch MP5A3s equipped with KAC railed forends and SureFire M900A weaponlight foregrip units throughout the movie. Cutler also uses one during the final shootout.
IMI Uzi
The leader of the robbers is armed with a full-sized Uzi in the grocery store.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
In the opening credits, a SWAT officer loads a Mossberg 500 as identified by the close up shot of the name on the gun.
Customized Ithaca 37 "Stakeout"
A customized Ithaca 37 "Stakeout", presumably the same one from Miami Vice, is used by a robber during the grocery store scene.
Remington Model 887 Nitro Mag Tactical
In the opening scene, a thug uses a sawed off Remington Model 887 Nitro Mag Tactical and SWAT officers later on use regular 887 Nitro Mag Tacticals. This is the first film appearance of the Remington Model 887.
Assault Rifles
Bushmaster ACR Carbine
Sgt. Paul Cutler (Gabriel Macht) uses a Bushmaster ACR Carbine as his primary. The EOTech XPS sights are clearly put on backwards in several scenes. This could potentially be the first film appearance of the ACR.
Colt Law Enforcement Carbine
Many S.W.A.T. Officers use variants of the Colt Law Enforcement Carbine throughout the movie with a variety of sights and gear attached to them. The Detroit SWAT team was later seen using training models that shoot paintballs.
Training Law Enforcement Carbine
The Detroit SWAT unit used Law Enforcement Carbines that had blue colored handguards and barrels and fired paint-balls in training.
Unknown AR-15 Carbine
It has an flat-top upper-receiver that lacks a forward-assist, a case-deflector, or an ejection-port cover.
Norinco Type 56-1
Another robber uses an Norinco Type 56-1 with a slant muzzle brake during the grocery store shootout.
Norinco Type 56-1 (Belly Custom)
Slater Harrington tries to defend his home from thugs using a custom nickel-plated Norinco Type 56-1. This weapon originally appeared in the movie Belly, and also appeared briefly in Lord of War.
SIG SG 551-A1
Walter Hatch's accomplice uses a SIG SG 551-A1 during the final shootout.
Sniper Rifles
M24 Sniper Weapon System
Officer Watters uses a M24 Sniper Weapon System when tasked as the sniper. He then uses it again during training.
Barrett M107
Walter Hatch (Robert Patrick) uses a Barrett M107 at a shooting range to scare Cutler. For some reason he racks the charging handle for every shot. It might or might not be for dramatic effort or the blanks they used didn't cycle semi-automatically. It's also possible that they didn't have any actual blanks and used special effects for the muzzle blast.
Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout
SWAT Officer Lori Barton (Shannon Kane) uses a Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout throughout the film in her role as sniper. Officer Mundy also used it during training.
Other
CAW 40mm Airsoft Launcher
A customized Craft Apple Works (CAW) 40mm airsoft launcher is seen in the opening scene used by a SWAT officer firing non lethal "disruptor" shells. The launcher is fitted with a Magpul MOE stock and an Aimpoint CompM2 sight.
